Cynthia Kerson, PhDC., BCIAC is certified in both biofeedback and neurofeedback. She has trained with Katee Wynia, MA. and Julian Isaacs, PhD. In 2003, she completed her Master's degree in humanistic psychology through Sonoma State University under the supervision of Eleanor Criswell, EdD. Her thesis is entitled Comparing Neurofeedback, Electrodermal Activity and Self Report: A study in Psychological and Physiological Interactions. Cynthia is currently working toward a PhD in Applied Psychophysiology at the University of Natural Medicine where her dissertation  involves training specific brain waves to mediate anxious behaviors. She specializes in combining neurofeedback and biofeedback training for learning disabilities, hypertension, pain, depression and anxiety. Cynthia has appeared on Channel 7 News, the Seeing Beyond radio program, and the In The Spirit of Healing television talk show. Her work was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Common Ground Magazine and Alternative Medicine Magazine. She is a mentor for the BCIA board certification program, a member of the BSC,  AAPB, SABA and ISNR. Additionally, she is currently the Executive Director of the Biofeedback Society of California and the Executive Director of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (formerly Int'l Society for Neuronal Regulation). She is SABA credentialed.
