Neurofeedback Home Training System
This system is available for home neurofeedback training on a monthly basis for $450.00. The client can have as many sessions a month for one set fee, plus clinical time billed at $100.00 per hour. The client (or the parent, spouse, caregiver or friend) can hook him/herself up at home when it's convenient. Each 30 minute session will be recorded and is easily emailed to me. I comment and send back adjustments to the protocol as needed. I ask that the client come to Marin Biofeedback once a month for a session and to check in with me. This is a great way to save money and travel time and allow the client the opportunity to work toward his goal at his own pace.

rent the system for $85.00 per month and sell it for $495.00.
The HeartMath Freeze Framer is a system that trains the client into heart resonance. It mediates many cardiovascular issues, including essential hypertension. It guides you, through the breath, to regulate the pace of the heart and transform how stress affects you and your body. Each session lasts from 3 to 30 minutes. Using this system at home augments weekly biofeedback sessions, allowing faster and more comprehensive rehabilitation. It rents for $75.00 a month or sells for $295.00.
Developed by HeartMath, it focuses on heart rate and breath. It helps you gain a new sense on relaxation regulation. You can place your ring finger on the sensor or use it hands-free with the ear clip, rendering it completely portable. We rent it for $60 a month or sell it for $195.00.
The Interactive Metronome (IM) helps the client with attentional, auditory and visual processing difficulties. It's suggested that the client perform the complete protocol in as short a period of time as possible. This can sometimes be prohibitive when scheduling sessions with the clinician. However, when renting the system for home use, the client will perform the pre-, mid- and post testing at Marin Biofeedback and the remaining 12 sessions of the 15 session protocol can be done conveniently at home. Once the software is installed in the home computer, the sessions can be completed using the rented IM module, clapper and tapper. The system, the three in-clinic tests and all clinical time are included in the rental fee of $650.00 as long as it is completed within a month. If the module needs to be rented for a longer time, the fee is $175.00 per week.
The AlphaStim system is very easy to hook-up; it has simple ear clips. You can wear it while reading, doing computer work, watching television. The system sends a small electrical current in the speed of the alpha brain waves. This encourages your brain to follow suit and be in what is known as the alpha state, the most alert but relaxed of the brain wave states. It's suggested that the client use the system for one month starting with daily 20 minute sessions and ending with 20 minute sessions every few days - or as needed. This system rents for $75.00 a month and sells for $495.00.
